Annual pumkin carving evening with the Biggs. Holly's was most challenging and the rest of us really can't say much but they all turned out good. We had fun. Our next traditional gathering will be making gingerbread houses in December (just kidding or not?)

Here is our Tigger and purple dragon on Halloween. We really can't help it that they are so cute, can we?

Oh, no...what? The purple dragon is trying to eat Tigger!!!

Fall festival at Brentwood United Methodist Church (where Paxton goes to Daycare)

Paxton had fun at the church fall canival riding on the pony until it tried to shake off a fly (while he was riding).

Gentry Farm & Pumpkin Patch

Mom and her boys!

Dad and Paxton on the tire swing which he really loved. Too bad we don't have a big tree in our yard we could put a tire swing. Wonder if we could put one up on the new porch??:-) ha,ha.

Fall is in the Air

Well, my favorite time of the year is here! It is such a short season, but it is so nice. Connor is 6 mos. already and Paxton is putting more and more words together to form sentences. Some words he uses because he knows the words and not what it means or how to use them (which is very cute). Other words and phrases, like "dang it", he's putting together well :-) He stood in front of the TV on Sat. when the Vandy/Auburn game was on and said with much drama (as he usually does) "oh no! dang it, dang it, dang it!" Maybe that's just copy-cat behavior and has nothing to do with word definition ??? Mike was on the porch and I was in the kitchen. It was shocking, but funny. By the way, Nashville football is having a good year so far.
GO Titans (5-0) and GO Vandy (5-0)!

Connor

Here are some pics of Connor taken about a week ago (5 1/2 months). He's a "little Mike" isn't he?

Paxton really likes to love on Connor. Connor thinks he's so funny and laughs at him a bunch (except when Paxton's climbing all over him and crushing his stomach :-( Our porch is GREAT! We love it and are enjoying it so much.
Mike picked Paxton up after his second day of school. The ride home was going very well until he realized (after an entire 5 seconds of silence) that something was up in the backseat. Paxton has found a pen and written all over himself. It was so funny.

Paxton turned 2 years old this August! He had such a great birthday this year. It's amazing how fast the year went by. Thanks to all who shared with him/us on his birthday via email, cards, and visits!
Yes, I did say he's two now...the funny moments have begun!!!! We are lovin' it!

We went to the Williamson County Fair with some friends on Friday, 08-08-08. Paxton had a blast. He liked the rides, the petting zoo, and the bands playing were his favorite. He was the star on the "dance floor". He got out there and started bouncing around in the middle of a couple country dancing. It was so cute. Mike and I were rolling laughing. Connor did great. He only fussed at around 10:00 pm when he was tired. We stayed 5 hours and it was really fun and very exhausting. The perfect way to kick off such a beautiful weekend. We've had great weather (low 80's for the high). On a side note...our new deck is coming along. The workers are here today framing for the roof. It looks like the electrical and wiring for the speakers and TV will go in this week, too. When it's all done, I'll post pictures so you can see that, too. Our 9 year Anniversary is this Thursday. Don't know what we are doing yet, but I'm sure it will be fun & cheap this year given that we are getting the porch done which is going to be a great gift for both of us. We are going to really enjoy sitting on the back porch hanging out together. Anyway, hope you enjoy our pics of the fair.
